It is very interesting to hear you compare the final audio file qualities of each of these services. Please post what you think of the Posterous audio. I have started using the service as well.

Yeah sounds great.. and it seemed simple enough.. specially in china. You just want it to be quick and simple.. and its nice and clean.. And sounds perfect for that.

The audio quality is excellent on all three apps. I like AudioBoo best so far because its creates an RSS feed and iTunes links.

Sounds good to me. 44.1 / 137kbit is really nuts for voice!

Honestly couldn't tell the difference between this and the TweetMic recording. If you're already using Posterous for images & video, it seems like a good choice to post audio here as well.

Spectacular sound quality Leo. I just came back from Shanghai. Watch out for space-suited temperature checkers. Might be stuck at gate for up an hour or more after you land.

This is great Leo, the iPhone is changing the game daily. The quality is surprisingly good. Could this be a foreshadow to a full *mobile* edition of TWiT? or Macbreak Weekly??

couldn't get to it using my Blackberry. Seems like most non-iphone mobile access is ignored by these sites.

Sound great! At Posterous, we've thrilled that the built in audio recorder and camera apps in the iPhone work so well with our service. There's really no need for a dedicated app.

These audio files you send us (and video too!) are also playable on iphones in safari.

And if anyone subscribes to this rss feed in itunes, it works as a podcast.

Simple podcasting from your iPhone with nothing to install. Perfect!

Sachin Agarwal: looks like your audio player doesn't function within Twitter iPhone clients. I'm using Twitterrific and TweetDeck.

hey Leo! Good stuff as usual...
For audio microblogging (as well as text, images and video) have you looked at www.cellspin.net? Great little app that runs on my Centro (works on iphone too) to post to various social media sites simultaneously!
Perfect for your China trip...

Daniel, it's up to each Twitter client to support playback of Posterous media within the app. We've provided all the hooks on our end for this, and some apps already support it.

We hope Tweetdeck and the others do soon as well! Thanks

Really great quality - podcasting on the run. I have to say it's better than my Blackberry that I have used to try posting to my Posterous blog.
