Does the Roku actually play DVD's? If it doesn't, that seems to defeat the purpose of having a Netflix account.

Regarding #3 and #5... I'm surprised you didn't at least mention the one that started it all off, the SliMP3 (not Logitech Squeezebox): http://www.logitechsqueezebox.com/

To John's comment about the Roku: We've had this device about a year and it's completely changed how we use Netflix. We stream everything and haven't returned a DVD in 6 months. Now that the PS3 supports Netflix streaming I've put the Roku in my daughter's room and she can put all of her kids shows on it! This is the future! BTW, I also had an Apple TV for a while and this blows it out of the water... at least for now...

Leo, what is your opinion of Tower of iPod, on 80 watts RMS speaker tower currently advertised at the Frontgate site for $199.00 (Reg $399).
It seems like a good alternative to buying a stereo system to play your music stored in the iPod or iPhone.

Thanks Max, but I still need the DVD for my own collection and the many Netflix not yet streamable.

Max, is it possible to have multiple Roku devices in a house and connect each one to a particular data source?

John Coffey, it's not meant as a DVD player replacement. Households have countless devices that play DVDs. It's a digital media player to supplement your Netflix DVD rentals and also watch content you purchase/rent from Amazon. Online content such as TwiT and Revision3 are also watchable on it.

Hi Bill,

Please forward to Leo Laporte.

On friday, you just completed an interview with the 1976 rape victim from the DuGard case and the segment ran a little long. Leo was up next and you informed him to be brief because of the timing of the previous interview and his response was "If I were a rape victim could I get more time". What a insensitive thing to say considering your praise of the victim for coming forward and sharing her life changing ordeal.

I love the show and can appriciate the humor, but Leo is not part of the inner circle. He needs to keep to topic and and not try to be cute or funny, especially concerning women being raped.
